For me as a non-native speaker, the trainer adjusted the pronunciation a bit and repeated statements from me to make comments or insight more understandable for others. Also let us/me trainees experience (and learn) the traps, which might come in real life.
Questions to current work situation could be asked and where (for me) satisfactory answered.

Interactive Class!
I really enjoyed how interactive the class was. Rich did a great job of keeping everyone engaged while also taking just enough breaks to allow a group refresh. The smaller breakout sessions were also a great way to meet the rest of the class and get varying perspectives through the 2 days.

Great Learning experience

Great workshop with balance
I enjoyed this workshop. I found there was a good balance between content and open discussion. I learned quite a bit and would highly recommend doing a workshop with Rich if you're looking for practical understanding of Scrum.

Rich was a great instructor. His ability to provide real world examples for the course material was extremely helpful. The overall pace was exceptional, didn't feel like we were rushing through slides or getting stuck on a particular topic. Enjoyed his enthusiasm and ability to include all participants. Rich is a very engaging trainer
Rich is a very engaging trainer. He diligently answered all questions, checked knowledge frequently, and was consistent about the verbiage he used throughout to help with overall learning while making the class fun! Throughout the two-day training, there were breaks spread throughout to help stay focused and breakout groups to instill knowledge and learning. Would definitely recommend doing this course if you're looking to learn Scrum!

Scrum framework made digestable
Rich was a wealth of knowledge in all things Scrum. The thing I absolutely appreciated the most was that he was able to help find some ways to demonstrate how it could be used in industries outside of tech. I work in a design/construction field and, coming in to the class, I felt a bit like I was going to be learning specific plays into a sport I didn't even know how to play. While that wasn't totally erased since it is so rooted in tech, I did feel like I was able to leave the class with some best practices for implementing the framework into my company. I've scoured the internet to see if there are any classes specific to practicing Scrum in my industry and, outside of a random white paper here or there, have come up short. I think the simplicity of Scrum would really help bridge the gap between a common problem working in construction: how do you bridge the gap between blue collar and white collar teams? I know I'd be the first to sign up for that class--especially if Rich was the teacher.

Very interactive and engaging!
This online class was very interactive and engaging. Rich provided so many real-life experiences and examples woven between the many breakout groups with interesting case studies and exercises to discuss with fellow students. I have a much better understanding of my new role and more importantly, feel more confident now because of this course.

Highly Recommended class and great facilitator
Great learning and pace for the PSM 2-day course. Rich uses real life examples and also very adaptive to his audience to ensure that there is a clear contrast between real-life challenges vs what the scrum framework is teaching us! Highly recommended and enjoyable class!

Amazing class and instructor

I loved the class
I loved the class, doing it online was phenomenal and still provided some great interactions with others in the class. The mural board we used provided more interaction and collaboration than if we were in a real classroom and we got to keep it as a reference afterward. Our instructor was beyond knowledgeable and facilitated some great discussions to help us really understand the information. I especially loved the real-life scenarios and the principles of Scrum that would be used to solve those problems. Those scenarios led to some great discussions which really helped us internalize what the Scrum guide says. Thank you!

Fantastic!
Rich was an excellent facilitator. He took the time to understand the range of our prior experience with Lean, Agile, Scrum, and product management, and customized the PO training sessions for us. He allowed us to take extra time where we wanted to dig in, and sped through sections where we didn't need as much depth. The Mural and Zoom breakout rooms were expertly and efficiently organized, with a wealth of additional resources for us to explore on our own if we didn't have the opportunity to cover it during sessions. I left the sessions feeling eager and inspired to apply what I've learned.

Exercises were tough but fun and representative of real world
The instructor was quite knowledgeable and made the class fun and interesting. It was not simply endless slides that were read to us, but was an interactive, collaborative experience. Parts of the exercises were very challenging - we had a very short amount of time to get ourselves organized and apply scrum principles to plan and execute a successful sprint. This was not easy but very much simulated the complexity and constraints that we face in the workplace every day.

I really enjoyed this class
I really enjoyed this class. The presenter was excellent, knowledgeable and his examples were great and provided a lot of additional context. He also created an atmosphere of trust and learning for the groups and I found the group dynamic was great as a result. The only suggestion I would offer is that I found when I did the Scum test, there were a few concepts in there that I either missed, or were not taught / emphasized in class. However, he did point out a lot of the additional learning available for that so I would only dock a small amount for that.

A great option for learning about scrum
Rich was a fantastic teacher. He facilitated useful and insightful conversations. While I definitely learned a lot of factual information from the class, these conversations were the most valuable part for me. He modeled how to think like a scrum master and how to use scrum values to guide decision making. I felt pretty confident in taking the PSM I assessment thanks to this course. If you are interested in learning more about being a scrum master I would highly recommend this course.

Applying Professional Scrum course - Really well organised and informative…
Really well organised and informative class. I did the online class and was great to work with people all around the world and hear their experiences of Scrum. Online tools were used to make the class really interactive and there was the right amount of teaching and practical exercises. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn more about Scrum or prepare for a Scrum certification!

Highly Recommend!
This course and instructor combo exceeded my expectations. We covered a lot in two days, going in-depth on Scrum theory, principles, and application. The instructor is an excellent Scrum coach and teacher and leads by example modeling the mindset, principles, and values throughout the course. It's an immersive learning experience!

Really enjoyed this course! Having been a complete beginner when it comes to SCRUM, this was a fantastic display of how useful it can be and what it is. I liked the balance of structured learning with highly interactive role based learning. I certainly want to continue experience the utility of Scrum in the future.

Engaging Scrum Fundamentals Training
This training was not like other workshops I have attended. It was engaging, hands on and applicable. The sessions were structured to stimulate conversation and thought - not just talked at all day.
I feel I have walked away with more knowledge and confidence on Scrum Fundamentals and feel prepared to apply to my real life. Rich and Greg made the class fun and interactive - even for introverts like me!

Fun, Engaging, Highly Effective Course!
Going through the course really clarified the principles and values of Scrum for me. The roles, artifacts and events of Scrum were defined and clearly demonstrated through a series of team exercises and group discussions. The experience was very interactive and informative. I learned not just by listening and reading about but also by DOING Scrum. It was very satisfying to go through the course and walk away with more thorough understanding of the Scrum framework as well as the confidence to know that I could do excellent work within it!

Very well put together

Rich was an excellent facilitator. He took the time to understand the range of our prior experience with Lean, Agile, Scrum, and product management, and customized the PO training sessions for us. He allowed us to take extra time where we wanted to dig in, and sped through sections where we didn't need as much depth. The Mural and Zoom breakout rooms were expertly and efficiently organized, with a wealth of additional resources for us to explore on our own if we didn't have the opportunity to cover it during sessions. I left the sessions feeling eager and inspired to apply what I've learned.

Exercises were tough but fun and representative of real world
The instructor was quite knowledgeable and made the class fun and interesting. It was not simply endless slides that were read to us, but was an interactive, collaborative experience. Parts of the exercises were very challenging - we had a very short amount of time to get ourselves organized and apply scrum principles to plan and execute a successful sprint. This was not easy but very much simulated the complexity and constraints that we face in the workplace every day.

I really enjoyed this class
I really enjoyed this class. The presenter was excellent, knowledgeable and his examples were great and provided a lot of additional context. He also created an atmosphere of trust and learning for the groups and I found the group dynamic was great as a result. The only suggestion I would offer is that I found when I did the Scum test, there were a few concepts in there that I either missed, or were not taught / emphasized in class. However, he did point out a lot of the additional learning available for that so I would only dock a small amount for that.

A great option for learning about scrum
Rich was a fantastic teacher. He facilitated useful and insightful conversations. While I definitely learned a lot of factual information from the class, these conversations were the most valuable part for me. He modeled how to think like a scrum master and how to use scrum values to guide decision making. I felt pretty confident in taking the PSM I assessment thanks to this course. If you are interested in learning more about being a scrum master I would highly recommend this course.

Applying Professional Scrum course - Really well organised and informative…
Really well organised and informative class. I did the online class and was great to work with people all around the world and hear their experiences of Scrum. Online tools were used to make the class really interactive and there was the right amount of teaching and practical exercises. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn more about Scrum or prepare for a Scrum certification!

Highly Recommend!
This course and instructor combo exceeded my expectations. We covered a lot in two days, going in-depth on Scrum theory, principles, and application. The instructor is an excellent Scrum coach and teacher and leads by example modeling the mindset, principles, and values throughout the course. It's an immersive learning experience!

Knowledgeable, Effective and Passionate
I enjoyed this training. Rich did a great job leading the class, assuring the right balance of information, personal experience, exercises and discussion. Rich is knowledgeable, effective and passionate!
I left the training with a solid understanding of Scrum and confident enough to be part of my first Scrum team and carryout my Product Owner responsibilities.

5 Stars!! Instructor was informative and interactive. Content was well organized. Only recommendation after taking the course and the amount of content covered, I feel an additional 1/2 day would be beneficial to recap and prepare for the PSM exam.

Really enjoyed this course
Really enjoyed this course! Having been a complete beginner when it comes to SCRUM, this was a fantastic display of how useful it can be and what it is. I liked the balance of structured learning with highly interactive role based learning. I certainly want to continue experience the utility of Scrum in the future.

Engaging Scrum Fundamentals Training
This training was not like other workshops I have attended. It was engaging, hands on and applicable. The sessions were structured to stimulate conversation and thought - not just talked at all day.
I feel I have walked away with more knowledge and confidence on Scrum Fundamentals and feel prepared to apply to my real life. Rich and Greg made the class fun and interactive - even for introverts like me!

Fun, Engaging, Highly Effective Course!
Going through the course really clarified the principles and values of Scrum for me. The roles, artifacts and events of Scrum were defined and clearly demonstrated through a series of team exercises and group discussions. The experience was very interactive and informative. I learned not just by listening and reading about but also by DOING Scrum. It was very satisfying to go through the course and walk away with more thorough understanding of the Scrum framework as well as the confidence to know that I could do excellent work within it!

Rich was great!
Rich Vistocky was very personable, knowledgeable, and made for an entertaining two-day class. He was willing to field almost any question, was very witty with his responses, and was quite helpful in clearing up misconceptions about the processes of Scrum.

Very well put together
Going into the class I thought I knew a lot about the workings of scrum. This class showed me that I still had a lot to learn and that my mind set was pretty far off the mark. The learning exercises were engaging and on point as were the team exercises.
