Scrum Master - Individual Development Plan (PDI)
Hi all,
Current in our organization we have an initiative to create a PDI - Individual Development Plan regarding our Scrum Master Role.
The intention is to be able to coach since Jr Scrum Master to become Seniors Scrum Masters.
Does anyone already have done something similar?
For example:
Scrum Master 1: it is necessary to have this this and this characteristics;
Scrum Master 2: it is necessary to have this this and this characteristics;
Scrum Master 3: it is necessary to have this this and this characteristics;
Scrum Master 4 (escalated): it is necessary to have this this and this characteristics;
Scrum Master 5 (escalated): it is necessary to have this this and this characteristics;
Any such plan would need to be tailored based on the needs of the organization and consider the background and desires of the individual. The Agile Coaching Competency Framework and the definition of the Scrum Master role from the Scrum Guide can provide some guidance on areas to develop. You can align the different services provided by the Scrum Master to the different aspects of the Agile Coaching Competency Framework, but some aspects may need to be filled in by the context in which you're working. This is most particularly in the different forms of mastery.

What purpose would this hierarchy serve? In terms of personal development, what would it add that PSM I, II and III would not?
