The PO should focus in revenue, cost...?
Hello all,
I am reading information regarding PSM I and PSPO I because at certain point I would get the certifications. I am reading some questions, comments... that make me a bit confused; as far as I understand there are no default or established KPIs in Scrum. Then... when they are talking about terms like: Value, Success... how they can be defined in Scrum? AND the PO should focus in cost or revenue of the Product?. Thanks in advance to all your replies.
Regards,
KPI's are not defined in Scrum but they can absolutely be used. The PO and/or organization can craft those. This is actually covered in greater detail in the Professional Product Owner book that Don McGreal co-authored as well as within some of the other suggested reading materials listed on the page for the PSPO study areas.
The PO should focus on maximizing value delivered by the team.
Any other KPI can be set by the organization based on their market position and product vision

How about in terms of what can be measured, and which helps control to be established over a product in its environment?
