Hi All,

I wanted to guage your views on data analysis during a 3 week sprint, should this be a sprint activity or pre-sprint?

Just trying to weigh up as not really adding business value end of the 3 weeks, its more of a data discovery.....

Many Thanks

If data is not analyzed during each Sprint, how timely are any discoveries likely to be?

Is this data related to a released increment?

Could it make sense to release something to your customers multiple times per sprint, and continuously analyse the data you gather?

This might lead to some timely discoveries, perhaps if inspecting the results of this analysis during the Sprint Review or sooner.

There should not be too much time spent on data analysis.

As you work on stories and complete story points; you should have the velocity; burndowns etc automated so that team can focus on improving break-down of work; estimation etc;
