Tracking growth with Competencies
Hi Everyone,
After passing both PSM I and PSPO I assessment, I was looking at the result I received.
While the assessment result does a great job of communicating the focus areas where I should concentrate, I wanted to know what will be the best way to keep track of my growth in these areas.
What would you suggest to keep a track of growth in terms of competencies/focus areas?
Thanks in advance!
Suppose you did concentrate in those areas, as advised. Wouldn’t any benefits then be accrued by the team? Isn’t that where improvement ought to be evidenced, and measurements agreed and taken?
Very nice point you make Ian!
And to add to this, I personally have a very clear view on my personal skill growth and focus areas, which are not related to the focus areas of PSM or PSPO, but really my intrinsic-self-areas.
@Ian: Okay. So I'm guessing my competencies will reflect in the Scrum team. I'm onboard with this point, the takeaway for me is, instead of looking inward, I have to see outward!
