Agile principles : https://www.agilealliance.org/agile101/12-principles-behind-the-agile-manifesto/

Great one:

"Business people and developers must work together daily throughout the project"

How far does this mean that Developers influence the roadmap of a product? Does Agile believe that developers should meet with the business even at the requirements gathering phase?

The reason I ask is that other frameworks, such as ITIL in particular, emphasis specfic roles that talk to the business.

2. Not involve them too much, as they might get bored and/or it could be wasteful to spend too much of their time on "soft" activities.

3. Things in point 1 and 2 may depend on specific people personality traits...
