Scrum.org Partners with Scrum.CN to Launch Professional Scrum in Mainland China
Professional Scrum Master certification to be offered in Simplified Chinese
BOSTON & SHANGHAI – Scrum.org, the Home of Scrum, ahead of Scrum Day China announced a partnership with Scrum.CN to bring Professional Scrum training and certification to mainland China. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in making Professional Scrum more accessible to Scrum practitioners in China.
“Growing Professional Scrum at the global level has always been a priority for Scrum.org,” said Dave West, CEO of Scrum.org. “Partnering with Scrum.CN allows us to bring the benefits of Scrum and agility to a wider audience, fostering greater collaboration and innovation within the Chinese market. This will help organizations in China, and those who partner with companies in China or have offices there, to drive digital transformations and be more competitive in the digital age.”
Under this partnership the following initiatives will take place:
- Scrum.CN will have exclusive distribution rights of the Simplified Chinese translated version of the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification test in mainland China. This initiative includes translating PSM I into Simplified Chinese.
- Web content related to Professional Scrum is available today in Simplified Chinese through www.scrum.org.cn. Content will continue to be added over time.
- The expansion of Professional Scrum™ training being offered to Chinese-speaking students in multiple Chinese dialects, enhancing their ability to learn and apply Scrum in their native language.
“As the need for greater agility continues to rise in China, this partnership with Scrum.org ensures that Chinese-speaking professionals have the resources and training necessary to excel in their respective fields,” said Eric Liao, CEO, Scrum.CN.
This week’s Scrum Day China, will be jointly hosted by Scrum.org and Scrum.CN and is the inaugural Professional Scrum conference aimed at Chinese-speaking agile practitioners. It offers a valuable platform for agile professionals in China to connect and share experiences.

专业 Scrum Master认证将提供简体中文版本
上海 & 波士顿 — 2024年8月15日 — Scrum官方组织 Scrum.org 在中国Scrum大会前夕，宣布与 Scrum中文网（Scrum.CN）达成合作，将专业 Scrum 培训和认证引入中国大陆。此次合作标志着一个重要的里程碑，意味着中国的Scrum实践者将更容易接触到专业Scrum。
“在全球范围内推广专业 Scrum 一直是 Scrum.org 的首要任务，” Scrum.org 首席执行官 Dave West 表示，“与 Scrum中文网的合作让我们能够将 Scrum 和敏捷的益处带给更广泛的受众，促进中国市场内更好的协作和创新。这将帮助中国的组织，以及与中国公司合作或在中国设有分公司的企业推动数字化转型，在数字时代更具竞争力。”
在此次合作中，双方将开展以下举措：

用多种中国方言向说中文的学生提供专业 Scrum™ 培训，提高他们在母语环境中学习和应用 Scrum 的能力。
