Scrum.org and ScrumMatch Partner to Provide Employers with Highly Qualified Scrum Masters and Product Owners

September 5, 2024

Boston, September 5, 2024 - Scrum.org, the Home of Scrum, has partnered with ScrumMatch, the Scrum job platform, to help organizations that are looking to hire Scrum Masters and Product Owners find candidates that have been qualified by experts in Scrum. This partnership combines the capabilities of Scrum.org training and certification with the proven ScrumMatch process and platform for validating an individual's level of maturity when it comes to the job that they are seeking.

ScrumMatch is a job platform for Scrum Masters and Product Owners that matches an individual's skills with employers’ needs. ScrumMatch transparently shows how candidates and companies align in the areas of Scrum maturity, experience and expectations, ensuring candidates are matched with the jobs appropriate for their experience and skill levels.

“Often recruiters and human resource teams spend countless hours sifting through job candidates only to find that the information on their resume doesn’t equate to their overall knowledge and experience, which can be costly for employers, and that is where ScrumMatch comes in to help.” said Johannes Geske, Product Owner at ScrumMatch. “We are excited to partner with Scrum.org and progress their mission of helping people and teams solve complex problems. Together, we believe we can help organizations realize the true impact that Scrum can provide.”

Instead of candidates applying for jobs, they are evaluated through ScrumMatch. Employers then use the platform to find candidates and contact them directly. This saves time for the job seeker and employers alike. Job seekers get real feedback on how to improve in their career and in their interviewing skills throughout the process. ScrumMatch also collaborates with Scrum.org Professional Scrum Trainers (PST) to assess the Scrum maturity of companies, helping candidates understand the true capabilities and desires of the hiring companies and better prepare for the roles.

“We are excited to partner with ScrumMatch as a way to bring the highest quality candidates to organizations,” said Dave West, CEO, Scrum.org. “Providing candidates that have gone through such an extensive process prior to being interviewed for their job will shorten the hiring cycle and improve the value new hires can deliver, and also help the candidates find a good job fit for them.”
