Scrum Master Training Class shows Wichita's Maturation in Tech World
April 15, 2018
It turns out that scrum isn't just a term for rugby players and fans.
It's also a process used in the tech world to help maximize production. In May, Wichita will host its first publicly-available professional scrum master training course, according to Maggie Schoonover, a software engineer and the CEO of Smash Dev Shop LLC in Wichita.
"This is a big deal for the Wichita tech community," Schoonover says. "This shows that we're maturing in the software development industry, which ties into the industries that we want to see grow here. If we want to be competitive, these are the things we need to have."
