Scrum Guide Companion for Leaders
If you are leading Scrum Teams or generally are a leader in an organization that’s leveraging Scrum, the Scrum Guide Companion for Leaders is for you. It looks at the different elements of Scrum and reflects on an effective way for leaders to engage with that element. The companion was written for the Scrum Guide 2020 version.
There are many definitions of leadership that apply to the use of Scrum. Leaders are both inside and outside of the Scrum Team. Everyone performs with some level of leadership. However, this Guide is focused on people who are outside of the Scrum Team. For example, HR Managers, Project and Program Managers and Departmental Heads. If you are an executive leader, then we suggest you read the first section as it will provide context for how Scrum works in your organization.
