Prove your knowledge of Discovery and Validation

Professional Product Discovery and Validation (PPDV) includes questions that test your understanding of discovery and validation practices in an Agile work environment.

Questions on the test fall into three broad categories;

  • Engage with Vision
  • Evolve with Validation
  • Lead to Value

These questions are derived from the Capabilities and Skills of Professional Product Ownership, and are not rooted in Scrum.

Prior to taking the Professional Product Discovery and Validation certification, you must attend a Professional Scrum Facilitation Skills training course taught by a Scrum.org Professional Scrum Trainer. The course alone may not be sufficient for everyone to pass the PDV certification, however, the resources listed on this page will help you to prepare.
