Why would our users choose us and our solution over the competitor's solution?

How does the user solve this today?

How would you explain to your partner/parent/child why we should do this?

If this were to stop working, what would happen?

If we don't do this, what will happen?

What in the world will be better if we do this?

What other ways could we meet the need?

Which options have already been missed?

Which solutions would not work, according to you?

In two years, when the competition catches up, what will their solution look like? (Strip away fluff, focus on the essentials, ...)

How have our competitors solved this?

What will the competition say when we release this?

What makes you think this is important?

How will others in the company motivate and support that we should do this now, instead of later?

Why would we do this now/before feature X?

We don't have time to do everything, but we can do something - what do we do first?

Are there any cheaper alternatives?

What could go wrong when we do this? How does it affect the user?
