Class Overview
Organizations and teams adopting Scrum attempt to run (“sprint”) before they can walk properly. This often leads to quick burn-out and unsustainable Scrum implementation. Managers and Leads then wonder if their teams really know what is needed to be successful in their Scrum implementation. Scrum Masters need to a have in-depth knowledge and understanding of Scrum values and practices.
The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course is the market leading Scrum Master training developed by Scrum.org and Ken Schwaber, co-creator of Scrum. The Professional Scrum Master course covers the principles of empirical process control theory underpinning the Scrum framework, and the role of the Scrum Master in it. The course includes advanced thinking for servant-leadership and behavioral shifts needed to become an effective and professional Scrum Master.
The PSM course is usually spread across two full-days (8 hours each). We are organizing this virtual online training workshop due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We will be using https://zoom.us for video conferencing.

Course Objectives:

- Understand the role of the Scrum Master as a trainer, mentor, facilitator and coach
- Motivate and lead a team of Scrum professionals who bring the advantages of Scrum to projects
- Learn how a Scrum Master can resolve conflicts and handle challenges

- Two attempts of PSM I exam.
- First attempt of PSM I assessment which needs to be given within 14 days after the training completion.
- Second attempt of PSM I (Eligibility: If you give first PSM exam attempt in 14 days after training completion and do not clear the exam)
- $100 discount (40%) on PSM II assessment
Additionally, participants will get:
- Course reference/study material as soft copy.
- 3 full length mock tests of total 240 questions to test their Scrum knowledge.
- 14 SEUs and/or PDUs towards their Scrum Alliance and PMI certificate renewal.
