The PSPO-A course focuses on advanced techniques and tools for defining product strategies, managing stakeholder expectations, and improving the effectiveness of value delivery. This interactive course will help you become a more influential Product Owner who can drive business value and align with organizational goals.

The Product Owner accountability requires the application of the Scrum Framework to maximise value. This involves working with a variety of stakeholders and using approaches and behaviours beyond the core Scrum Framework. This course explores this through several different stances:

Champion the future state, by communicating the product vision, strategy and Product Goal. Understand value and pricing models

The Experimenter

How can innovation and hypothesis testing validate ideas around value, and how to apply learnings effectively.

Focus on making more effective decisions in a timely manner to maximise impact and value

Working with others beyond your immediate team to achieve the Product Goal. How to engage with other departments like compliance, legal, procurement and risk.

Professional Scrum Certification

All participants completing the Professional Scrum Product Owner-Advanced course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Product Owner II (PSPO II) assessment. PSPO-A class participants who attempt the PSPO II assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost. You are also entitled to a 40% discount on the PSPO III assessment.

PMI PDU Credits

Students of Scrum.org courses can claim Project Management Institute (PMI) PDU credit: 14 PDUs after attending a  Professional Scrum Product Owner - Advanced (PSPO-A) workshop. Please note that PMI PDUs are earned for course attendance, not for passing a Scrum.org assessment. Students can claim PDUs under PMI's "Education courses provided by other third-party providers” category.
