I am about to challenge the PSM 1 assessment and I have the following clarification questions please:

I came across this explanation in a study guide I'm reviewing and would like further input. Specifically, I'd like to know whether every product backlog item, when developed in the sprint, should deliver functionality, shippable code etc.; ;OR can non-code, non technical deliverables be the output of a backlog item (like a document), SO LONG AS the increment as a whole is shippable functionality that meets the Sprint Goal?----

Here is the text in the study guide that I want to clarify is true or not, for purposes of passing the PSM 1  assessment: " While the Sprint has to necessarily produce a potentially shippable and useable Increment, some of the Product Backlog items could produce other deliverables including documents if the Product Owner considers them having appropriate value. If a Product Backlog item is a document, it may not be subjected to definition of “Done” which is usually the standards needed for software. So, while the definition of “Done” is applicable at Increment level, it may not be applicable for some individual Product Backlog items."
