Embark on a transformative journey with my Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) course, designed in alignment with scrum.org’s approach to Professional Scrum.  The market is currently in turmoil with so much misinformation about what Scrum is or is not.  It is hard to distinguish what is good from bad.  

This advanced course is crafted to deepen your understanding and proficiency in Scrum, extending beyond the basics to explore how to apply Scrum to challenges Scrum Masters face. Dive into topics like facilitating, high-performing teams, resolving impediments, how to serve, quality, and fostering an effective Scrum culture. This course is not about learning Scrum, but living and applying it, enabling you to be a change agent who leads agility and excellence in your organisation.

Who Should Attend?

This course is tailored for experienced Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches. It’s ideal for those with a solid foundation in Scrum principles and ready to take their skills to the next level. If you are passionate about Scrum practices and want to raise your game, this course is for you.

Important Prerequisite

Many past students who have self-studied Scrum or done Scrum through other organisations find this course hard. If you have not attended a PSM 1 course (even if you have PSM 1 certification), then do the PSM 1 course first.  The way we see scrum at scrum.org is different as it has been diluted in the industry.

About the Instructor

I have been helping teams with Agile and Scrum in real-world applications.  Most of my time is in consulting and working with teams, so I bring a depth of knowledge and practical insights to this course. But having run a business, done product management and taken products to market, I bring those experiences into conversations, too.  

This course is facilitated in a Scrum Master to Scrum Master style and not a traditional classroom course. I do this to help you see in practice how to facilitate and respond as a Scrum Master. There are tons of fun exercises that you will do and can take back to your teams.

My mission is to empower Scrum Masters and Agile professionals to become catalysts for change. By providing a deeper understanding of Scrum, I aim to enable you to navigate complex Scrum challenges and promote a culture that embodies courage, focus, openness, commitment and respect.

Scrum.org's PSM II training, a must for any Scrum Master

PSM II training is a must for any Scrum Master with experience, to be a better Scrum Master. If you do not have real world experience, this course may not be for you as you may not be able to relate most of the course content. Brett Maytom is also a great trainer, especially with his cheeky questions.

Getting back to basics has changed my coaching

My colleagues and i work in an organisation that has implemented new ways of working which are based, for the most part on scrum. And its been quite a journey which is obviously far from over!
