I have to take the  psm 1 certification in a week. Apart from scrum guide and open assessment, is there something that will help me prepare to pass the exam.

Practice following url (http://mlapshin.com/index.php/psm-quiz/learning-mode/). This will help you.

All the best.

Hi Julie, have you attended a PSM training course? If not I would certainly recommend it, but given you have to take it next week you probably don't have time. Some of the Scrum trainers have written blogs to cover your question and I'm pretty sure a search in the forum would also bring up some great guidance.

Here is an example blog by a PST http://webgate.ltd.uk/how-to-pass-the-professional-scrum-master-i-psm-i…

Good luck.

Maybe others will add to what I have said above.
