Hi All,

I cleared my PSM 1 exam on 22nd Dec on my first try and scored 77/80. I have been visiting this forum for last 1-2 months ( like other aspirants :-) ) and took inputs from various ppl. Thought of sharing my experience as it might help other aspirants.

++ How much to study +++ ( 4-6 weeks max )

1. I started preparing for PSM I seriously about a month back (mid nov ) ==> Conclusion don't overkill yourself with months of studies as there are no dearth of books/ papers and you might overkill yourself.

++ What to study ++

1. Take SCRUM GUIDE as bible. Every sentence in the guide can be converted to potential question. I used notepad and started jotting notes for every section ( e.g. PO role, DT Role etc. ) to my surprise with every read i got to understand more and more

2. SCRUM.ORG - Open assessments ( PSM, PO and DT). In the end you must score 100% but i suggest mapping question to SCRUM GUIDE ( as you might find more potential questions in the process )

3. Mikhail Lapshin - Questions bank very useful

4. Mplaza - Nader K Rad ( I loved his study material ). Pls enjoy this, he explains fundamentals with such a ease. Assessments are also good

5. SCRUM Forum ==> this forum was very useful as there are gurus sitting in this forum to help you in case you have any doubts.

Thanks once again and best of luck for aspiring PSM I candidates.
