PSM Open assessment??
I am planning to take PSM1 certification soon.... I am confuse ...which open assessment to practice for PSM1. There are 4 different assessment on scrum.org. 1) Scrum open 2) nexus open 3)product owner open and 3) developer open.
Some people advise to take all 4 but as per my knowledge in test it will come from The Scrum Guide but i dont see any content related to nexus or developer open in scrum Guide then why we need to do that and in test really they ask out of scrum guide??
Thank you
Hi
I have passed PSM1 with 95% 2 days back and my suggestion would be to concentrate more on scrum open / product owner open and practitioner open. You can find many discussions pertaining to practitioner open in the forums here and this really helped me in attaining a good score and managing time since you already know answers to some questions.. You will definitely see some real time questions similar to practitioner open. As many people have already mentioned, its all scrum guide and though the questions are thought provoking, answers lies around rules of scrum that binds events, roles and artifacts together. for eg: roles and their responsibilities, how these roles should act/react to certain conditions.
I have encountered few questions on multiple scrum teams/nexus but the right option clearly says what is already mentioned in scrum guide. like say - how many ever scrum teams exists, product owner will always be single person, similarly think about the product backlog. Gist of what nexus is will be sufficient to attempt the exam keeping in mind basic concepts of scrum guide
ALL THE BEST and for any questions, this forum will always be there for you.
Thank you Rekha..
