Hello Fellow Scrummers..

Glad to tell you that I passed the PSM I exam with 98% today. A big 'thank you' to the experts who are regular at the forums. My 2 cents on the preparation for the exam follows...

a) Read the official scrum guide, many times. Reflect upon the words. Every time you read it you will discover something new.

b) Both the forums at scrum.org are very useful. Scan through the forums. People asked good questions. Experts(Ian, Charles to name a few) answered those questions very well. Those are very informative and clears many doubts.

c) Browse through http://www.controlchaos.com/articles. It is Ken's website.

c) You can practise on test series at Mplaza or Mlapshin to improve your speed. Careful though, I found some questions & answers are objectionable in both the sites.

d) The Open assessments are a must. Go for PSM, PSPO & Nexus. Keep on trying until you score 100% every time. I recommend to read the official Nexus guide to boost your knowledge.

e) I found the book 'Scrum Narrative and PSM Exam Guide' useful. It is very focused.

f) Done with the above ones ?? Read official scrum guide again.

Good Luck... :)

Cool. From all the readings in this forum, I keep seeing the pattern. I guess I got the preparation formula for PSM: SOAP FM

S - Scrum Guide
OA - Open Assessments
P - (Scrum Narrative) PSM Exam Guide
F - (Scrum.org) Forum
M - Mlapshin Quiz

Missing anything else?

Yes, That will help to pass the exam. But do make a conscious effort to get essence of Scrum. In the long run that is more important. Cheers..DB

Even, I have been getting score between 93% and 100% I am not sure to take the examen :s. That is why, I do not know how will be a real examen then I can ask about what kind of questions did you find in your exam.

a) Developing questions where you have to apply scrum knowledge and decide the correct alternative
OR
b) plain question where if you read the scrum guide, you can answer any question that exam ask you

Thanks in advance and study "Open assessments are a must. Go for PSM, PSPO & Nexus" that you recommended us
