PSM 1 Assesment
Hi,
I'm preparing for PSM I assesment and going through the scrum guide and other learning materials. Can I quickly check if "Scrum Open" is the correct one related to PSM I in the Open assesment.
I also see Developer Open and Practicioner open and wondering if it is good to practise them as well or am I doing an overkill.
Thanks
Make sure you can pass all the assessments with 100% every time before you take the Professional Assessment.
The Scrum Practitioner Open is more near the difficult level of PSM 1.
Thanks @Ching-Pei Li
I'm preparing using the PSD open assessment and Practitioner open as well.
As you have stated the Practitioner open is much challenging with no feedback on my test. Hope some more studies will enhance my understanding on those.
Update - I have completed PSM I successfully. This place has been great to understand few of the questions.
Congratukations!
I've got a lot of shared experiences and knowledge here, too.
Does it mean that the difficulty level of the PSM I exam is close to the Scrum Practitioner exam?

Does it mean that the difficulty level of the PSM I exam is close to the Scrum Practitioner exam?
There are 80 questions with different level of challenges in the PSM I exam.
The most challenging questions you will get during the assessment are close to the ones in Scrum Practitioner exam.
The Scrum Practitioner exam includes scaled Scrum subjects.
The grade rate to pass is 85%.
There are no chances to skip any questions.
Thank a lot for your tips.
I have been going thru the Scrum Guide and taking open assessments and scoring just around 96%.
Need to prepare a lot more.
Can you please suggest some good books that I can refer to for Scaled Scrum?
I have been referring to random reading materials on the Internet but a good book will definitely help.
Thanks again for all your help.
Hi Visalakshi,
The official guide how to scale Scrum is the Nexus Guide: https://www.scrum.org/Portals/0/NexusGuide%20v1.1.pdf
Hi Gnanasekar,
Congratulations on passing the assessment.
I also recently got the PSM I and PSPO I certificates.
I agree with Ching-Pei Li that the real PSM I assessment contains several questions that are very similar to the Scrum Practitioner Open quiz. So, you need to read something more than just the Scrum Guide.
For those who is preparing to pass PSM I assessment, I created a free mock version of PSM I exam myself: http://mlapshin.com/index.php/2015/09/14/psm-i-mock-quiz-is-ready/
It contains 80 questions and all explanations, so you can use it exactly as the free Scrum.org assessments.
More tips how to prepare to PSM I is in my blog: http://mlapshin.com/index.php/2015/09/08/psm-exam/
I hope you find my advice useful.
Thank you Mikhail. This is definitely helpful.
Hi all,
I have been taking scrum open assessments and been more consistent in getting 100% on those exams.
Also, I have taken Mikhailaspin real mode assessments and scoring 92-94% consistently.
I have read lot about Mpaza.com as of the good sources for studying and taking mock tests. I am not sure if I should buy those exams or need to. I would appreciate if you have any suggestions/recommendations.
I have taken real exam few times before but wasn't able tp ass. i want to be more confident and pass exam this time.
Thanks
