hello community!

just passed the PSM I with 95% at first attempt!

i would like to share with you some insights from my experience.

- study thoroughly the scrum guide

- try to re-read the scrum guide through different perspectives (for that reason i have written a post that you could find here http://escapelocaloptimum.wordpress.com/2014/07/27/6-the-scrum-guide-th…) it helped me to group better the guide in my mind

- take the developer open assessment, the ambition level is to have 100% as for the scrum open (a few questions in the assessment are from there...so you will gain time)

- spend time to read and understand the excellent book form Gunther , Scrum - a pocket guide. there are questions related to multiple scrum teams, self-organization, burn-down charts, values e.t.c If i had more time prior the assessment i would definitely spend a few more days to better understand that book! Apart form the assessment, the guide and Gunther's book are excellent resources to start implementing scrum-by-the-book in your organization...i think sometimes we miss important aspects of scrum and we make things more complex that it should be... (own reflection)...and the reason is that we haven't understand scrum!...so the assessment and the preparation will help you understand it much better!

- use that forum!..it is an excellent resource of information and advices!

hope it will help you a little bit!...effort is good!..so take your time...

ps: form the report seems that i've missed most probably one question is self-organization area...and i know that i've changed in the last 20sec..it is related to the benefits of self-organization....self-organized teams..are free within the boundaries..and scrum set such boundaries...through the various rules...under that context...maybe self-organized teams...are more compliant with the rules set by the organization..and the scrum itself!..note sure...if this could be a benefit as well..comparing to self-accountability...that if refers to team is sth good...but if refers to an individual...then the it is not good...since the whole team should be accountable!....any thoughts?
