Invitation to Participate in Research
My name is Michael Malone, and I am a doctoral student in Information Technology Management at Capella University.
I am seeking participants to assist with the research for my doctoral dissertation. The purpose of the study is to examine the experiences of Scrum Masters when encountering attempts to bypass, ignore, steamroll, or otherwise subvert the Scrum process.
You will be asked to participate in an in-depth interview lasting approximately one hour, and to validate a transcript and analysis of that interview. Interviews will be conducted using Skype and will be recorded.
Participants must be from 18-65 years of age and English speakers. They must be currently practicing as a Scrum Master and have participated in at least two (2) software projects as Scrum Master. 20-25 participants are needed for the study.
TO PRESERVE YOUR ANONYMITY, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS POST.
To enroll, please send an email to my university email address, mmalone6@capellauniversity.edu. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Once we establish contact, you will receive an informed consent agreement in regular U.S. mail.

I just wanted to add to this, stating that is is not a scam, but a real research study. If you are a Scrum Master and have at least one year's experience, please consider contacting me at the above email address and participating in the study. All responses will be kept confidential, and I will be glad to answer any questions you have before you commit to the study.
This study is still open and seeking participants.
