Agile Manifesto Values
Hi all,
When im thinking of values, words like
- Justice
- Kindness
- Knowledge
- Leadership
- Learning
- Love
Come to my mind.
In Scrum the values are as such explicitly defined.
But what are these values in the Agile Manifesto. I dont consider the manifesto as values. For me these statements/phrases are beliefs.
How do you see this?
Which are the explicit values in the manifesto?

One of the dictionary definitions of "value" is "something (such as a principle or quality) intrinsically valuable or desirable". The creators of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development have specified the things that they see as intrinsically valuable or desirable are an emphasis on individuals and interactions (over processes and tools), working software (over comprehensive documentation), customer collaboration (over contract negotiation), and responding to change (over following a plan).
A paragraph even says that there "is value" in items like processes, tools, documentation, negotiation, and following a plan, they value the other things more. This uses two definitions of value - the worth of something as well as something that is valuable or desirable.
