As I look back at 10+ years of being a guide for large, multi-billion dollar (usually publicly traded) organizations on the path to Agility, I have come to the dreadful realization that I have failed more than I have succeeded. And as I look back at some of my more cringe-worthy failures, I am trying to reassure and forgive myself with this quote from Maya Angelou -
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
I did the best I could. Now I hope I know better and so, maybe I can hope to do better.
Which led me to pose a couple of questions to the universe...
- What do I now know better?
- If I were able to magically share this wisdom to the old me, what would I say to him...?
