Retrospectives
How do we make the retrospectives more efficient and fun?
There are several techniques and templates to run the retrospective that you will find when you google it. Some of them are here https://www.tastycupcakes.org https://www.funretrospectives.com/
Or may be check this thread https://www.scrum.org/forum/scrum-forum/5311/how-can-improve-retrospective-and-planning-meetings
I personally found one good way of doing this using https://www.scrum.org/resources/blog/meta-retrospective-how-get-customers-and-stakeholders-onboard
Additionally you can check various facilitating techniques using Liberating structures.
Hi Manu,
That a good point!
I'll split it in two action points I did and helped me a lot:
Tool: https://funretro.io/
Personally had some issues with this event in the past. Some developer asked me "Why do we do it? I don't have a point to keep saying in front everybody what I think".
So as a workaround I started to use the website:
On this website, it is possible to write anonymously what went well, need improvement and the action points.
Most of the time, people are afraid to say something bad in front of other people. This "anonymous list" helps them to be more honest.
Innovation
My company uses a platform called "JIRA".
There it was possible to extract some good data from sprint and create a sprint report.
Now my team have already 25 sprint reports with the historic of data and profile of the team during the sprint.
With this report, they started to see points in themselves that they could improve.
