How is working as a Scrum master at capital one
I recently got a full time offer from cap1 as a scrum master. I was extremely excited at first because capital one is known as the "holy grail" for scrum masters. But after looking into the company, their forced distribution performamce reviews has been holding me back from accepting. I don't understand how a company using this type of method to evaluate employees also succeed in implementing agile. Any input or thoughts from scrumasters who have or had worked as a scrum master at capital one?
I think your concerns are valid. Unsure what such "Individual Performance Reviews" would be based upon, why ensured turnover is preferable over staff stability, or why anyone believes that all employee performance will always chart into a nice bell curve.
FYI - Capital One is a very good Agile company, but Amazon in my opinion is the Scrum Master "Holy Grail". ;-)
