Hello everybody,

I’m Feltrim and I intend to be a Scrum Master! 

I’d like to know if you guys can give me some tips, advices or even books to expand my agile knowledge.

Here’s my background: More then 5 years of IT Technical Support, Associate degree in Processes Management at University Anhembi Morumbi, Certified in ITIL and SFC.

Now, studying for PSM I.

You should start following the Scrum Master Learning Path.

Out of curiosity, any specific reason why you want to become a scrum master? Internal personal drivers?

For your answer, the scrum guide and agile manifesto are of course the cre to know by heart.

A classroom training PSM-I is higly recommended also.

Next to that, the blogs and this forum help a lot to get more insights into the how's and why's.

Excellent question!

I decided to drive my career to agility, especially to Scrum Master role, because I’ve already act in IT projects where I could develop a corporative communication with directors and Stakeholders. Besides owning a large experience in technical systems support, I can understand technical needs and remove possible impediments for the Development Team could have. I aim to use my communication skills to disseminate values and practices of Scrum.

Hi Vinicius! I read books authored by Mohammed Musthafa to pass my PSM 1 and PSPO 1 certifications. His books also contain situational questions that are truly valuable.
