I'm a scrum master that has been asked to become epic owner of bigger project on our horizon.

Can't really find info on what an epic owner is in the scrum sense?

Hi Dennis - Epic Owner is a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) term.  A Scrum Master in the SAFe world would usually not be in that type of role.  Usually a business person or an architect would be the owner.  Here's a link: https://www.scaledagileframework.com/epic-owner/

Scrum doesn't have such a role, and the closest we have is a Product Owner in Nexus.  If your organization is running SAFe, this forum probably isn't going to be the best forum to advise you on being an Epic Owner.

Sorry about that.

Thanks!

Didn't realize the company I'm working for is mixing agile methods.
