PSM I Certification

How many times have you read the Scrum Guide? The Scrum Open is great, but if you're going for the PSM, you should take the PSM Open Assessment multiple times. I would take all of the Open Assessments because it gets you thinking about the exam content and when you get a random question that revolves around coaching instead of specifically Scrum, you will likely score better.

Do a search of the forum, there are hundreds of posts talking about the tips for passing the PSM exam. I will say that simply reading the Scrum Guide once or twice is far from enough to pass the exam.

I agree with Curtis.  Another variable is your Scrum experience.  In addition to the Scrum Guide, the book "Scrum: A Pocket Guide" by Gunther Verheyen may also be helpful to you.

I've passed PSM 1 (and also PSPO 1) by using these three tools:

1 - of course, the Scrum Guide

2 - if you need you may try to practice PSM 1 mock tests on volkerdon. There are 320 questions just for 10 USD. 

3 - also there is a great resource to prepare for exam - ScrumCrazy There are many great articles which will definitely help you to pass PSM 1. 

But it is up to you to decide which resource you have to use.

Sorry to jump on to someone’s else post. I am also preparing for the PMS I . I have worked in a organisation which followed scrum pretty diligently. I worked as a scrum master there for sometime too. So I already know a lot of terms and processes involved with scrum. Will this help me in clearing the exams. In terms of preparations does this make it any easier for me?

Thanks for all your Inputs. I have Read Scrum Guide taken Open Assessment tests Multiple times. Managed to Score 100% On scrum Open and PO Open.

I have also tried http://mlapshin.com/index.php/scrum-quizzes/psm-real-mode/ exams and managed to Score above 95% consistently.

My Doubt is recently i have taken nexus Open ,i could not score well. my score is less than 50%. should i need to score 100% in nexus Open before attempting for Real exam.

Thanks for the question )))) To be honest it is up to you. In my mind you have to read more about events and artifacts in Sprint (there are about 7-9 articles). But again it is up to you.

I have passed PSM I today with 97.5%. It was my first attempt.
