Hi,

I need to know if I can appear for PSM II certification without having PSM I certificate.

Thanks,

Fahad Khan.

Hi Fahad,

I dont think you can take PSM II without PSM I.Please read deails on: https://www.scrum.org/professional-scrum-certifications/professional-sc…;

It says PSM II is available to anyone who has passed the PSM I assessment.

Thanks

You can, but it is recommended to pass PSM1 first :)

Fahad, I can definitively say that you can take the PSM II without first taking the PSM I.  You can verify in my profile, as I've done this myself.

I put together a short write-up about this topic here, that you may find it helpful.  The short version is that you shouldn't dive straight into the PSM II it unless you're very familiar with Scrum already; otherwise, be prepared to fail at least once.
