Scrum Master job, questions
Im a transitioning active duty soldier that was recently approached by an online recruiter for an event coordinator scrum master.
Aside from what I read in Wiki, which is full of technical jargon, can anyone explain the daily duties for someone in that position in layman terms?
Hi Daniel,
First thing to look at would be your own transition, you have been in an institution and irrepective of the part of it, this will be your first hurdle to make the adjustments to your new life so you have as good a shot as anyone else.
SM is a tough old role make no mistake about it, if you look at the Scrum guide which as a budding SM should be reading.
Page six is where you should be looking, dependant if your SM or SM/Developer the job is just as challenging.
Looks easy from the guide, you will be very surprised at how tough this role is more so as a new entrant working with skilled developers, some happy with Scrum, some that will not be happy with it.
Good luck in your transition and if you do take the SM oath of allegiance.
