Passed the PSM1 and PSPO1
I passed the PSM1 two weeks ago and passed the PSPO1 today (both done via self-study) and wanted to thank everyone for the insight you all provided in helping me understand the Scum Framework and the Agile process in general. I do not come from a developer background and only took programming in my undergrad (I am a mainframe and network engineer by trade) so this was a huge mountain to climb over the last two months. Scrum is a phenomenal framework and the community is awesome and supportive. Thanks again everyone.

If you don't mind, I'd be interested in your consumer experience/perspective on what you felt were the best studying tactics for PSPO I?
(I know that quite a bit of it overlaps with PSM 1 and Scrum Open -- so I'm really asking about the PO specific parts.)
I actively read every book in the PSPO and PSM subject areas. As you mentioned, there was some overlap in the readings. Someone best said the tests were more about putting yourself in the mindset of the PO or the SM which is what I did when reading. I started looking looking at things from those lenses. I looked at my current and past infrastructure projects and applied the reasoning, logic, and thought processes of the positions. Lastly, I immersed myself in Scrum; I actively read everything in the forums and thought of how to apply everything to my organization. I went as far as to write a detailed plan and strategy on how to apply Scrum to the organization including detailing the benefits and comparing the results and productivity to what we could theoretically if we used Scrum in development as well as in many projects. Basically, I obsessed (joke).
