Has the recommended maximum size of a Scrum Team changed?
Hi
Am I reading the 2020 Scrum Guide correct that the recommended maximum amount of Scrum Team members changed compared to the 2017 Scrum Guide? In the 2017 Scrum Guide 3-9 Development Team members were mentioned, adding PO and SM makes a maximum total of 11 Scrum Team members. In the 2020 Scrum Guide it is stated that the Scrum Team consists of "typically 10 or fewer people". Does someone know why this changed? Did this happen on purpose?
Thanks for your responses.
never mind. I found this other blog post where the same topic is already covered. https://www.scrum.org/forum/scrum-forum/45556/2017-scrum-guide-vs-2020-… Anyway it is only a small detail and I was just curious. It is just interesting that so far I have never read anything you this change in any blogs or posts on any platforms. Probably not worth to mention.
