PSPO II Test Troubles - Need Study Advice

I've been a PO at the same company for a long while, the difference is, the PO is responsible everything except portfolios, sales prices, and courting customers.  Once contact is made, we take over.  We help with pre-sales planning.  But the portfolio, price, etc is not on the PO.

This leads me to the PSPO II test.  The test is difficult and scenario based.  But, I am perfect or doing extremely well in all sections except:

  • Porfolio Management
  • Business Strategy

I've read all the website resources.  I have read the Professional Product Owner book.  And I'm still struggling.

Can anyone offer anything for me to study to help do better here in these specifically?

Have you looked into enrolling in the PSPO and PSPO-A courses?

I just passed the PSPO II a couple of days ago, but I was surprised as well by the number of questions on business/investment strategy. I felt these were good questions for the PSPO II, but I wish I was more prepared. I have read the recommended Professional Product Owner book, but I feel it didn't go deep in these topics either.

I was wondering if there are books that would be recommended to go deeper in these topics as part of my continuous improvement.

I can recommend to read the Evidence-Based Management Guide [1] for the PSPO II. You should find some of the terminology there.

There were two question on mine this week about scenario A and B and these were also in the practice.  I got a zero in this area and really wonder why.  This was also covered in the course.   Maybe the answer key is messed up.  This is a little strange...
