Hi!

It's a pleasure for me to be a part of this community and I appreciate your time to read me.

Recently between a company to work, is a young company and one of my first tasks was to implement Scrum.

I have read the book "SCRUM. "The art of doing twice the work in half the time" and the SCRUM Guide, but still I have doubt of how to apply it.

In-house projects entry is very diverse, they can enter 5 to 20 new projects per week, and the duration of each incoming project is also different, from one week to two months.

So I have question how to implement SCRUM. Way to begin to make my Product Backlog because they are very different my earrings to make lists.

You should do a sprint for each new project or that would be preferable.

I appreciate your opinions and comments.

Thanks!

In a project-centric environment, I would question if Scrum is appropriate. Scrum is product-centric, where you have a backlog of potential work for the product and each Sprint works to realize pieces of that backlog to add value.

Do you have one or more products? Do you have one or more teams dedicated or committed to supporting a product for an extended period of time? Do these teams contain the necessary skills to go from idea to delivery? These are some of the necessities that make Scrum make sense.

However, even if Scrum isn't appropriate, you may be able to learn from some of the Scrum practices to enhance your projects and improve your delivery.
