Suggested Experience Level: Professional Scrum Product Owner Training Course
Hello all!
What is the suggested level of industry experience for students enrolling in the Professional Scrum Product Owner Training Course (entry level, experienced, or mixed)?
I have some experience in construction project management and looking at transitioning into a role as a Product Owner. The PSPO course was suggested to me, but I want to make sure it is the best investment of my resources and time.
Thank you!
Tyler
Hi Tyler
Are you thinking of moving into software industry? Scrum is primarily used in IT, but has been used in other industries as well.
Scrum has been used to develop software, hardware, embedded software, networks of interacting function, autonomous vehicles, schools, government, marketing, managing the operation of organizations and almost everything we use in our daily lives, as individuals and societies - SG
If not, and because I'm not as experienced as others - ie @Ian Mitchell - I'm not really sure whether Scrum would be of great use in the construction industry given the specifics. Not to mention that, if your company hasn't decided to give Scrum a go (there's no management buyin to be more precise), you won't be able to introduce this framework by yourself.
