Scaled Professional Scrum

Live Virtual Class, November 25-26, 2024

Class Overview

Scale simply with Nexus and Scrum

Guaranteed to run!  Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) with Nexus is offered for two full days, delivered remotely, and is designed as an experiential workshop where students learn how to scale Scrum using the Nexus Framework. Nexus relies upon the Scrum framework, but it adds additional roles and events to help teams manage dependencies and improve communication during the Sprint.

Nexus adds only what is necessary - and no more.  Nexus teams still work with a single Product Owner and a single Product Backlog.  Nexus teams don't add unnecessary overhead, release trains, or costly meetings.  Nexus teams scale simply; because simplicity is the secret power behind the Scrum framework.

In this class, you'll learn how Scrum is scaled with Nexus by adding one role, modifying or adding only the necessary events, and allowing teams to plan better by adding a Nexus Sprint backlog that focuses on dependencies. Rebel Scrum trainers have hands-on experience with large-scale transformations using Nexus, so you can confidently train. This is an engaging class with lots of discussion and practical tools and tips.
