Class Overview
The Professional Scrum Master – Advanced course (PSM-A) is completely focused on the Scrum Master role, and provides excellent support in the professional development of a Scrum Master. The goal of this ”next step” course, is to deepen the understanding, use and application of Scrum’s values and principles in the daily work of a Scrum Master.
The PSM-A course helps students embrace different stances which are typical for an effective Scrum Master and servant leader. We deep dive into how a Scrum Master serves Development Teams, Product Owners and the surrounding organization and environment. Along the way, we pickup different types and forms of practices and skills that can be used to shape conversations, increase value – and how to apply these practices and skills in everyday work.
We use real cases and challenges, from real companies, and students are expected to have at least 18 months experience of the Scrum Master role before entering the class room. With reflection and clear guidance, we uncover ways that will help you become a more effective and successful Scrum Master.
