Class Overview
Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is a 2-days interactive and activity-based course where students gain a strong understanding of Professional Scrum and the role of the Scrum Master. At the end of the 2-days, students develop a deep understanding of the underlying principles of Scrum and the Agile mindset while learning the practices applied by successful Scrum Teams.
Throughout the course, students are challenged to think in terms of the Scrum principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace.
The PSM course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In this course, students work on real-life cases with other classmates together as a team. This course is made up of discussions and hands-on exercises based upon real-life cases.
Who should attend?
The Professional Scrum Master course is for anyone involved in software development using the Scrum Framework. It is particularly beneficial for those people within an organization accountable for getting the most out of Scrum, including Scrum Masters, managers, and Scrum Team members.

- Learn the skills and traits and behaviour shifts required to be a Scrum Master
Assessments & Certification
All students completing the Professional Scrum Master course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. PSM class participants who attempt the PSM I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.
You are also entitled to a 40% discount on the PSM II assessment once passing PSM I.

About The Trainer
Sam is a dynamic agile practitioner, Scrum Master, Agile Coach and Professional Scrum Trainer. Sam's first encounter with Scrum was in 2007 and over the years he has accumulated a lot of experience supporting organisation to deliver value to their customers using the Scrum Framework.
Previous clients include Large organisations such Barclays, HSBC, Ministry of Justice, TUI, UBS, Channel4, BBC Worldwide and a large number of start-ups around the world.
When not training, Sam works as an Enterprise Agile Coach where he supports organizations in scaling their implementation of Agile Frameworks (e.g Scrum, Kanban) up to the Executive level of the organization.Agile Frameworks including the complimentary practices and tools are great but Sam's ultimate goal is to support the organizations on building the mindset that is required for Agility to thrive.
