The only reason I give 4 star rating is the class being online, Richard is an excellent lecturer and he did great. After being onsite on PSM, I see the value in having onsite classes.

Good- Examples given and group discussions. Highlight important concepts. Can be better- Introduce, explain topic before starting discussion or asking participants to give their understanding.

Great interactive session

I've had several scrum trainings over the years and this one was the best! He lives scrum and really understands it and knows the benefits. It was well worth my time and money. I highly recommend Ricky.

Engaging with a lot of real-life examples. Riki is a fun instructor and was able to answer all questions the class raised throughout the course. The two full days in class went by quite quickly. It was interesting to learn that complementary frameworks and scrum are unique - same terms, different meanings or roles. Only improvement opportunity would be to ensure the Scrum Master portion of the training not be rushed. It was the last section, and I felt we could have spent more time on the breakouts and discussion but instead were rushed. Perhaps 30-minute lunches instead of 60 would give that "extra" time described.

PSM I led by Richard was really valueable experience. Richard expalains basics of Scrum in erudite yet humurous manner. This course is a greate choise for anyone who wast to enter the world of Scrum or already has some experience and wants to consolidate the knowlage of scrum theory.

Very well led interactive class that helped me align my ideas/plans as a line manager with the Scrum Framework. I appreciate the way Richard presented the framework, we could clearly see it was coming from having a vast experience rather than being theoretical.

Excellent class. Richard broke the modules down into useful and meaningful sections, and challenged me to alter my way of thinking and managing a team. It is so enlightening to think in terms of Scrum and allowing a team to self-managing and pushing the decision making back onto the team. Thoroughly enjoyable 2 day course and would highly recommend Richards classes!

Richard was great! He delivered the course with enthusiasm and knowledge. It's difficult to do a course virtually and keep everyone engaged for the duration but Richard managed to maintain engagement and most importantly, equipped me with the tools and knowledge needed to feel confident about passing the PSM. I look forward to using what I've learnt in my work and potentially pursue further training in the future.

I thought Richard was really engaging across the 2 day course. We covered all the Scrum content at a sensible pace, with regular short breaks and input from the students. I'd recommend his lessons if you are new to Scrum.

Professional Scrum Master training lead by Riki was a great experience. His friendly but professional approach and deep expertise kept us engaged, and he made complex concepts easy to grasp. The practical case studies were especially helpful, showing us how to apply Scrum in real-life scenarios. The training was fun and memorable, leaving me confident in my new skills. I really enjoyed my time in the course! I thought it was going to lean on a more academic side, but no! There was plenty of interaction, plenty of sharing examples, plenty of discussion! Definitely recommend as a starting point for your Scrum Master journey!

Great tutor!

The course was very beneficial and gave me great insight into Scrum. Although I wasn't initially sure about the online format (my original course was to be on site), Rikki has proven himself to be a master of the online craft. The course was engaging, very interactive and I was engaged comparably to the onsite course. Rikki has a wide range of experience and complements his explanations with many real-life illustrations (including examples), which is very helpful. Although I knew Scrum before, the course brought a lot of new findings to me. I definitely recommend it.

Richard really knows the subject matter well and makes the learning environment relaxed and fun. He used a nice range of visual and interactive tools for us to have hands on practice of implementing Kanban for scrum teams. It was an enjoyable course and I can recommend Richard as the trainer!

Our tutor had tons of first hand working experience with scrum, so every theory bit was accompanied with interesting and helpful practical trivia and examples, which made the sessions really fast flowing and imformative. Highly recommended.

There wasn’t a dull moment in the two-days training I’ve had with Richard. He managed to keep my attention throughout the whole training, leading the class through the topic with humour and positive energy, while staying professional and focused. Many real-life examples were a bonus to help me understand the topic better. The tasks that Richard used in his class were challenging and thought-provoking and kept me on my toes throughout the training. I highly recommend Richard’s class, it was super interesting, enjoyable and I believe that knowledge I’ve gained is applicable to my current position. So once again: thank you!

One of the best Classes I have attended. Like the way, they teach us. I really enjoyed it.

Remote Professional Scrum Master Training led by Richard Ross was well structured, full of information and practical examples and fun! It helped me understand better what's behind Agile framework. I've enjoyed work in Mural white board very much as well as the practical break-out sessions. Even though it was sometimes unclear, why we were skipping some of the presentation slides and I think some of the task descriptions for practical break-out sessions were somewhat blurry/fuzzy, it does not affect the overall positive impression.

The class was interactive, helping me understand the Scrum Master role thoroughly. The instructor was very knowledgeable with lots of experience in the field and created a collaborative environment with best practices. The course materials were comprehensive, and the facilitation was top-notch. Highly recommended!

Interesting topic, great trainer who shared lots of real life experiences that makes class interesting and funny

Richard is a great trainer with lot of practical experience from his previous jobs (I really like all real examples which he shared with us). I appreaciate his hints about exams which were very helpful. My course was virtual but it went very quickly and I like Richard gave us small breaks regularly. Now I passed my PSM exam on my first attempt!

Great PSM I training organised by Richard Ross with numerous interesting and interactive case studies and activities to better imagine Scrum in day-to-day life. The training was really knowledgeable, well-managed and organised. Richard was always willing to answer any questions which yielded some interesting discussions among colleagues.

Great introduction to Scrum. In addition to the theory, the training also provided an opportunity to practically test the acquired knowledge on specific cases. The trainer also showed the application of Scrum rules on his practical experience from the implemented projects.

The Professional Scrum Master class provided by Richard Ross was very good. I really like his active intervention and providing a lot of his real experiences. For each section he had many stories. The class was very interactive and not just the sharing the theory.

An added bonus was the trainer's experience with real teams which he was able to share with us along the different subject discussed.

We had a 2 days long training with Richard and even though the topic was almost new to me and there was a lot of new information Richard explained everything well and he provided a tremendous amount of real life examples, which helped me to better uderstand the topic. Some of the exercises used throughout the training were sometimes ambiguous and there wasn´t only most correct answer, however I assume this was an intention. I would like to thank Richard for guiding us in an easy and witty way and for providing us with a huge list of tips for further reading and studies. Thanks to him, I have passed the assessment!

The training for Professional Scrum I has met my expectations. I have learnt the fundamentals of professional scrum and how to apply the principals in practice. The training was very well managed and organized, interactive and informative. Our trainee was a friendly, straight forward and a knowledgeable person linking the theory with many practical cases. It was worth time spent and i would recommend this session to anyone interested in knowing more about professional scrum.

Within trainings, I always appreciate when theory meets practice. Richard Ross presented many examples from his own experience and we went through several practical exercises where we had the opportunity to verify our assumptions. In the end, we received a number of tips and materials for the study, which helped to create a good basis for the certification itself.

The PSM I course led by Richard Ross delivered great value for my career development. He explained the basics of Scrum & Agile in simple and understandable way, using enough user cases. I do appreciate all the tricks & tricks provided. Richard is an amazing coach with lots of experience - that was visible in the way he was able to engage the whole group, create active collaboration and lively discussions. Also, not forgetting to appreciate all the fun aspects he brought into the course! I had no issues with passing the PSM I exam after the course, that on it's own is an evidence of how good the preparation was. I am boosted with motivation to expand my Scrum knowledge. Thank you!

I had the chance to do the PSM 1 training with Richard Ross and it formed a great foundation for my knowledge about SCRUM. Richard has a great experience with agile and can provide a lot of real life examples of how to create value with SCRUM and how to go beyond just ticking boxes on the path of becoming agile. The course is tailored for Scrum Masters which was not the case in my class, so first day felt a bit overwhelming. But Richard quickly adapted to our experience and needs and next 2 days were exactly what we needed. I fully recommend his course and if you want to have it and you are not already a Scrum Master, just align with him upfront so you can get the most out of it.

Everyone can read just a mere theory from book or guide, but this training led by Richard Ross was not only about theory, but about practical situations, too. Once the necessary intro theory was done, it was a nice mixture of theoretical principles and practical experience and knowledge/experience sharing. Richard did a great job!
