How Does Management Define the "Agile" In "Agile Transformation"...?

As I look back at 10+ years of being a guide for large, multi-billion dollar (usually publicly traded) organizations on the path to Agility, I have come to the dreadful realization that I have failed more than I have succeeded. And as I look back at some of my more cringe-worthy failures, I am trying to reassure and forgive myself with this quote from Maya Angelou -

“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

I did the best I could. Now I hope I know better and so, maybe I can hope to do better.

Which led me to pose a couple of questions to the universe...

  1. What do I now know better?
  2. If I were able to magically share this wisdom to the old me, what would I say to him...?

The universe answered me back with a series of questions (hate it when that happens!), the first of which is in the video below. Let me know what you think...
