Should the Development Team to be prepared for the grooming sessions in advance? If yes, then in what way (e.g. just look through the top of Product Backlog, or look into each story and write the questions right away)? Or should they familiar with stories only at the session?

In advance of what? The Scrum Guide suggests that a certain percentage of time during each Sprint be used for Product Backlog refinement purposes. It's up to the team how they should make the best use of that time. Unless a Nexus is involved, refinement does not necessarily need to be organized and prepared for as though it were a discrete event.
