Development Teams organisation

Scrum guide says about Development Teams that have the following characteristics:

    - They are self-organized.

    - And cross-functional.

But, how the development teams are organised? 

Social psychologists have defined some characteristics of groups, for example:

    - Interaction: Scrum takes care of this.

    - Goals: This also.

    - Interdependence in relation: Ok.

    - Structure: Nope.

    - Unity: Ok.

So a group need a structure: norms and roles. But Scrum recognises no titles for Development Team members, this is ok but some groups have a leader.

 

This is ok in Scrum? Do we need to have one leader developer? Do we need to check the developer's personalities to make an equilibrated group?
