Hi all,

I am learning how to apply the Nexus model into our teams.

One of my concern is the number of Scrum Master in our team.

We have 2 Scrum Teams working in 2 different locations and sharing some Scrum events to have a good integration and transparancy.

One member is acting as the representative for his offshore team and I, as the Scrum Master, manage my own team here.

Everything is quite OK but we have some issues happened because offshore team needs to have a Scrum Master working directly with them too.

I have read the Nexus guide but it doesn't mention this issue in details.

Therefore, I am asking if you have faced this situation before then you can give me an advice.

Thanks for your answer.

2 scrum teams in 2 different locations- so you have a SM for each team, right? If you have just 2 scrum teams, why do you need a Nexus?

Remember that you ought to implement Scrum well at a team level before you even think about scaling. Nexus is not a model or a solution for two teams which are only just starting to master Scrum locally and finding ways to manage dependencies between themselves.
